Under-Connected and Over-Committed

Under-Connected and Over-Committed

Couples get caught in the hustle and bustle of routine. This causes them to become under-connected and over-committed. The relationship doesn’t start out this way, however the longer they are together the busier their routine becomes.

They become “plate spinners” and one of these plates is the relationship. Now throw in a few more plates such as work, children, activities, sports, church, extended family, school activities, and maybe University for themselves.

This results in less time to spin the relationship plate.

The relationship is no longer a loving union.

The end result is what started out as two loving people in a relationship ends in two people too exhausted to work on the relationship. The relationship now contains two lonely people believing they’ve just grown apart.

But if two people can decide the relationship is worth fighting for, choose to find what they lost in each other and change their priorities, their relationship can be saved.
