The Little Foxes
In a relationship, it is easy for the “little foxes” slowly creep their way in and strangle the relationship like weeds in a garden.
The Little foxes refer to the moments you don’t feel heard or you’re shut down or dismissed.
Maybe you’re unappreciated and taken for granted, making you feel like you’re not valued or a priority.
This causes each person to pull away emotionally, stop communicating, and each person may become critical, hypersensitive and treat their partner with contempt and disrespect.
When one person tries to communicate to their partner how they feel in the relationship, the partner may come back with a deflection, shutting down the other person, dismissing their feelings and even blaming and justifying their behaviour. This causes two people to pull away from each other.
The partner trying to communicate their feelings of hurt and pain stops communicating because they can’t trust their partner with their heart.
Is there any coming back from this?
