Relationships & Cost of Living

Relationships & Cost of Living

With the cost of living increasing daily, families are finding themselves in deeper and deeper debt because they’re living beyond their means.

So how do you reduce the debt?

Answer: By working longer hours.

This equates to generally either the wife staying at home to raise the children and look after the home if the husband can earn more money or both parents working and the children spending long hours daily in Childcare or being
“latch key” kids after school.

Either way, the wife and or children are missing out on the much needed emotional and physical interaction.

More often than not, long-term the couple realise they no longer have an emotional or physical connection because, by the time they are alone together, they’re exhausted.

Is the need to have things or expensive trips away worth the sacrifice on the family and the relationships?

Parents are missing important birthdays, Mother’s Days, Father’s Days, Anniversaries, Easter and Christmas.

Eventually, couples can resent the time apart and want to call it quits.
