Relationship Conflicts

Every relationship experiences conflict at some point.

Some relationships experience conflict more than others.

Conflict is evidence of needs not being met in the relationship.

When conflict reaches the yelling stage, neither person is listening to the other.

One person may even walk away or storm off because they haven’t been heard.

If one or both people are yelling, each person is thinking about what they want to say next rather than listening to the other person’s perspective.

Both people are left not feeling heard or understood. Nothing is resolved.

For many couples this has become a toxic cycle.

If the same person backs down in every argument, both people lose because issues are still not resolved.
