Feeling Loved In Relationships
Just because you tell your partner you love them it doesn’t mean they feel loved.
We often show love to our partner the way we need to feel loved, however, it might be missing the mark for your partner.
You might be shocked to discover what you need to feel loved is not meaningful to your partner.
So how do you find out what your partner needs to feel loved and valued by you?
You ask them is the short answer.
Start with
“What does love look like to you?”
“What makes you feel loved in this relationship?”
They might say to be listened to without interruption or to cuddle up on the lounge watching a good movie together,
a random kiss or cuddle during the day, helping out with chores or gardening together.
Maybe it is cooking together or cuddling in bed or even a random bouquet of flowers on payday. All of these things show your partner you are thinking of them.
